Bloomberg: “Green-Fuel Push Stirs Food Inflation Fears in Rebound from Virus”
John Jansen, vice president of strategic partnerships for the United Soybean Board offered comments to Bloomberg related to the soaring demand for crops used to produce biofuels amid escalating food prices, as countries continue recovering from the pandemic.
Soybeans are just one crop used in the production of biofuels. They are also an important ingredient in everything from animal feed to consumer foods.
