Brownfield Ag News: Farmer Endorses Soybean-Based Motor Oil
Northeastern South Dakota soybean farmer Todd Hanten couldn’t wait to get the new soy-based engine oil when it became available. He told Brownfield Ag News he’s on his third oil change in his Chevy SUV using the Biosynthetic Technologies product made from soybean oil.
Hanten is also secretary for the South Dakota Soybean Promotion Board and a soy checkoff farmer-leader. “It just makes me happy to be using a product that is made from high oleic soybeans that are grown right here by U.S. farmers and are also good for the environment.”
